Epix SMP M2 was the second addition to the Epix trilogy, with the same traditional vanilla mechanics to milestone 1, Epix M2 was made after the shutdown of milestone 1 due to backup corruptions. It ran on a ddos protected raspberry pi server which people said that it was less performant of our previous host, minehut.

Since the server wasn't hosted on minehut and the tragic loss of people's progress, less people played the server compared to Epix's initial launch on minehut, it was only found on minecraft server lists. But we we're still able to gather a good amount of people who played with new stunning builds and lore!

This was the last true addition to the trilogy, as after this server had shutdown in July 2021, we had changed owners to depths, who made Milestone 3, though, completely flopped. Same thing goes for the final milestone in the classic Epix trilogy, Milestone V. Which was owned by me, the creator of Epix. It had much stricter rules compared to the other entries and it was completely whitelisted. It shutdown in a matter of a few months.

Even though there were only two successful milestones in the Epix trilogy, people who played Epix had formed newer groups like byte-craft, which is a big group of people who make talented minecraft creations and is also affiliated with our group!
